Transgenderism, Transracialism, and Now………Transeconomics

Transgendered people claim to be the opposite gender trapped in the wrong body, such as a man trapped in a woman’s body or a woman trapped in a man’s body. When asked who trapped them, they quickly say, “God, and he made a mistake.” Strange, but some who would eagerly deny the existence of God suddenly become all too willing to accept the existence of God. This week in the news, there is a case of transracialism or a black woman trapped in a white woman’s body. Even though both of her parents are unquestionably caucasian, she now claims to be black. According to today’s “experts”, whether the issue is transgender or transracial, the individual just simply has to believe they are whatever they want to be, regardless of birth, history, heritage, DNA and other messy facts. Just make a few physical changes, and Shazzam, a transformation occurs.

Finally, the time has arrived that I can come out. That’s right, I have a trans secret. I’m not joking, this is serious business. The power of the mind is awesome, and now, backed by an insane society, led by an ever willing media, the power to be whatever you want to be has expanded with no boundaries. Just wish it, think it, or demand it to be so, and it is.

Here it is: I am a wealthy person trapped in a poor person’s body with a poor person’s identity. However, my recent experiment in transeconomics did not work and no one is sympathetic to my cause. I wrote a check for a purchase totaling over $10,000 and my narrow minded bank says I am overdrawn. Well, I beg your pardon, but I say that there is over $20,000 in my account. I want it to be true, I believe it to be true and I demand it to be so, therefore it is. For good measure, a little “surgery” on their books from their end would validate my claim. Yet everyone I have spoken to is bigoted, narrow minded, hateful, and they look at me like I am crazy. Forget truth, reality, deposit slips, and good accounting procedures; I demand my bank accept my reality. After all since truth is no longer absolute and relativism now reigns, one person’s reality is as good as the reality of anyone else. I may have been born poor and lived my life poor, but now I have decided to be wealthy. Where is MSNBC, ABC, CNN, and all the other XYZ’s when I need them? This is a personal crisis and I DEMAND to be heard and validated. I will not accept all the hate speech coming my way. I am wealthy; hear me roar!

And if this doesn’t work, I can always say I am a Chinese man trapped in a Caucasian body. It must be so; I love Chinese food.

A Letter From Hell

Once again, I find myself taking the the wisdom of Joseph Harris and putting on my blog because his article is so pertinent at this time!

I realize among conservative Bible believers and most fundamentalists, Clive Staples Lewis is not a staple in their literary diet. I certainly do not agree with or endorse everything from his pen, however, “The Screwtape Letters” stand alone as genius. This work is an account of an experienced demon instructing his novice demon nephew in the ways of sabotage and subterfuge against Christianity. Below is my version of a Screwtape letter.

My Dear Wormwater,

This is just a note of encouragement for you in your ministry. I have been hearing good reports of your evangelism for our master. Your massive, intense campaign undertaken over the past 40 years has been fruitful. It is evident that lives have been changed, families transformed, churches altered, and society affected as a whole. I notice as you have used phrases such as “reaching this generation” and “discovering felt needs”, people have been encouraged to “make a decision” for our lord. Cunning is your prestidigitation indeed.

Changes in your converts are manifested in lifestyles, churlish attitudes, dress, and worship. As a demon in training, you have excelled in converting the church in your outreach program. In bringing the unconverted to our master’s ways, many churches now look, act, talk, think and dress like the world. Instead of the church reaching the world, we have successfully reached the church with the world. The majority of churches today feel the pressure to conform to new and modern standards, with only a few still holding on to “the old paths”, as they like to say. How thorough is your work. I commend you for focusing on burning the forest, not just cutting down a couple of trees.

Your “methods change, but the message remains the same” mantra was a stroke of genius. It has beguiled many unsuspecting churchmen into introducing worldly devices into their ministries and worship services they might not otherwise have tolerated. Your perfidy is unmatched. Our father below may even take note of your progress, if your perseverance is relentless.

Man has an insatiable desire to worship. Your mission is to always encourage worship, but incorporate small changes that steer incrementally away from their “worship in spirit and truth”, with the appearance of focusing on the enemy (and always cloaked in stained glass language), yet creating a god for them to worship who is strikingly similar to their divine, yet unmistakably different.

Patience, my dear Wormwater, patience. One cannot eat a whole elephant in one meal, but even the largest pachyderm can be ultimately consumed one bite at a time. Resist the temptation to change the enemy overnight, but continue with small bites.

Your affectionate Uncle and Demon mentor,

Slewtape (Joseph Harris)

Are You a Thermostat or a Thermometer?

In almost every modern home, there is a little box on a wall called a thermostat. It controls the climate in the house. Also contained in that box is a thermometer, which measures the temperature inside the house. The thermostat responds to the temperature of the thermometer, based on its setting and will turn the heating/cooling unit on or off depending on the setting. One measures, one makes a difference.

Are you a thermostat or a thermometer? A lot of Christians are nothing more than a thermometer. They take on the temperature of their environment. At church, they are holy, kind, patient and considerate. Away from the church crowd, they are rude, crude, impatient and act like their worldly environment. They do nothing more than reflect and emulate their environment.

Thermostat Christians make a change in the temperature of their environment. When backbiting begins, they refrain and instead use edifying words. When confronted in anger, they answer softly and not in wrath for “The wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God”, according to Brother James. They are not affected by the cold or the heat. They walk to the beat of the Holy Spirit, since they are filled with Him and they make a difference in their environment.

When Peter stood by the fire warming himself, as Jesus was being tried illegally, he took on the climate of the world. When confronted with his identity and association with Jesus, he lied, then swore. Peter reflected the temperature of the world. He was a thermometer.

When Demas forsook Paul and loved this present world, he was a thermometer and of no use to Paul or God. The Macedonian believers, however, became a thermostat and made a difference and along with Paul, became “ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia” (I Thess. 1:7) and they also became a thermometer as they took on the climate of Paul and God, “And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord…” (I Thess. 1:6).

Three well known thermostats in the Bible were the Hebrews in Daniel who would not bow to the king. When everyone else was doing it, they absolutely refused to bow to a man made image. They were so locked in to God that they vowed to not bow whether, God preserved them or not. The issue for them was not deliverance, but integrity.

Oh God give us some thermostat Christians who will stop reflecting the temperature of this world and its filth, and who are more concerned about pleasing the Holy God of the universe, as they set the temperature of Godliness in their family, church, work place and community.

Where Is the Fight?

Pacifism rules! Where is the will and desire to fight that which is wrong, sinful and ungodly? What has happened to the fight in the average American? The “rollover and play dead” philosophy abounds, therefore iniquity abounds. The family, church and this nation are under a severe attack by unseen and seen forces and yet we are told to accommodate, open a dialogue, tolerate and understand and accept the enemy. When the average patriotic Christian American does stand for truth and righteousness, they are often accused of having no love. Billy Sunday, famous evangelist of yesteryear used to say, “I love flowers, but I hate weeds.” Loving flowers produces a hate for weeds. It is possible to love right and hate wrong, yet love the wrong doer.

Where is the fight against abortion, homosexuality, pornography, pedophilia, and alcohol? Where is the fight for God to remain in the public square, for public prayers at state sponsored events in the name of Jesus, and where is the fight against ungodly humanism manifested in evolutionary teaching and philosophy? Where is the fight against radical Islam, which threatens individual liberty through Sharia law? What happened to the fight for Godliness in the church, striving for purity among the membership, establishing standards and conduct that are decent and God honoring?

Concerning this nation, why have the borders not been sealed and a wall built to keep out the invaders? Immigration and naturalization laws mean nothing. Why are lawbreakers allowed to remain in this country and not be deported back to Mexico or their homeland? Liberal politicians, both Democrat and Republican, are leading the way for the downfall of truth, justice and the American way, at a breakneck speed. “Americo” is in the making and the powers that be who could do something are not just asleep at the wheel….they are in a coma. The House and Senate both need purging by “We the People” if it’s not already too late. The Jimmy Carter philosophy of ignore-it-and-it-will-go-away has prevailed. Where is the will to fight for our vanishing liberties as they are challenged by the ACLU and other “freedom loving” entities?

Concerning the church, where are the pastors who used to follow the admonition of Isaiah 58:1 “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Oh, that was in the Old Testament some will say. Today in the church age, we follow the New Testament. Does a New Testament pastor have any less responsibility of warning against the danger of sin as an Old Testament prophet? Use a little common sense and decide. A rattlesnake in the path is a danger to anyone approaching it and whoever does not warn of imminent danger is guilty of neglect. Adultery, the sale and use of alcohol among church members, homosexuality and other sins can be found alive and well in the average Christian church of today. Pastors and parents have chosen the path of least resistance and have sacrificed the future of the church on the altar of accommodation and tolerance. Preaching the Gospel includes preaching the whole Bible which includes the bitter and the sweet of the two edged sword. Being instant in season and out of season means some teaching will be in season with the people and sweet to accept. Other teachings will be out of season, but like a bitter medicine, will produce healing and that which is good. So preacher, preach the word!

Concerning the home, most parents have delegated the instruction of their children totally to the government schools and their churches. Home education and real Christian schools are available for readin’ writin’ and ‘rithmatic, taught from a Biblical worldview. Primary instruction in Scripture should come from the home, and then be strengthened by the church. Don’t give up and give in to the world’s philosophy that will indoctrinate children with an anti-God philosophy. Where is the fight for the minds and souls of today’s children?

It’s high time we got a dose of reality and realized the seriousness of the hour and the importance of standing for right against wrong. After all, things are still either right or wrong.
